Welcome to Tara’s Southern Kitchen Blog

Do you feel like your dinner menu is a repeat of last week?  Are you a busy family, rushing home after school and sports activities, and wonder what’s for dinner?   I hope that  through this blog I can share some of the helpful tips, and menus, that keep my family around the dinner table, instead of the drive thru lane.  As I begin this journey, over the next month, you will see that my cooking style is a combination of Southern, quick and easy, freezer to oven, leftovers with a twist, and much more.   I’m not a professional chef, just a wife and mother, that has a love for cooking.   Thank you to 2 of my dear sweet friends for encouraging me to begin this journey; and to my husband for setting up my blog page, while I was in the kitchen cooking dinner.  Please feel free to share tarasouthernkitchen.wordpress.com, with your family and friends.
